Our Blueberries are grown in the ideal climatic location of the beautiful Strathbogie ranges, part of Victoria’s High Country and about 150 km’s from Victoria’s capital Melbourne.
Blueberry Haven is a Family run business owned and operated by Peter and Bea (Mum) Tregent and their very charming and helpful Border Collie Jock.
The original Blueberry Haven Property was the brainchild Bill Mottram, who developed the property as a unique country theme park. The property encompassing over 330 acres of bushlands, fishing lakes and fruit trees, including exotic varieties of blueberry bushes that were planted back in the late 70’s.
Peter Tregent, having never even tried a blueberry, bought part of the property in 1998, as a weekend retreat with the vision to grow grapes. The quality and taste of the original blueberry plantings prompted Peter to commercially develop the farm into the thriving organic Blueberry business that it is today. Blueberry Haven now supplies boutique organic stores, commercial kitchens, restaurants and supermarket chains throughout Australia.
